Student Health & Wellness

Student receiving counsel

UCF Student Health Services provides a variety of primary and specialty care services to help keep students at their optimum health. The health Center is located on the Main Campus, and satellite clinics are located at the Rosen, Health Sciences, and Downtown campuses. Our services are designed with students’ needs in mind.

Student Health Fee

The health fee (included in tuition) helps to offset your medical costs which means you can see a health care provider with no out-of-pocket charge for the general (primary care) office visit. Patients are financially responsible for items not covered by the health fee.  These include, but are not limited to clinical procedures, x-rays, laboratory services, medical equipment, prescriptions, non-prescription medications, vaccinations, dental services, and physical therapy. When charges occur, students can elect to use their health insurance coverage, or pay out-of-pocket. All out-of-pocket expenses as determined by your health insurer are due at the time of service.

Off-Campus Housing Food Vendors Safety Protocols

Search through local food vendors and review their safety policies and protocols through COVD-19. Stay safe and feel comfortable knowing you can rely on these select vendors to take extra measures while serving those in need during these times.

Alcohol & Other Drug Programs

College is a time to explore new ideas and discover the limits of personal autonomy. Yet, in recent years the prevalence of substance abuse, depression, and anxiety is rising. Campus health professionals are working with students to reduce substance abuse, improve mental health, and foster self-confidence. At Student Health Services (SHS), we offer integrated recovery, treatment, and prevention programming for our students.
